Addison Leigh

So I know I have been a VERY VERY poor blogger this month.  At this point I have about 4 blogs that I have started but have not gotten around to finish yet.  I will have to say it is certainly a different world with two kids versus one (much busier)!  Well with all the whirlwinds spinning around this place I knew I had to stop for at least 30 minutes to share my little niece with everyone.  On July 26th @ 10:07pm Little Addison Leigh Beaman came into this world.  She was a healthy 7 lbs 15 oz and 19.5 inches long little girl with the prettiest strawberry blonde hair.  She definitely took her time coming into this world (about 20 hours from when Mommy's water broke) but all the waiting was well worth it!  God showed up again and showed us a miracle!! Hope you enjoy these pictures of Addison right after she was born.  You will be seeing a lot more in the near future!
I think she looks just like her Daddy here!

Little Addison came out ready to eat.  As soon as she arrived she already had her little lips smacking.Posted by Picasa

ECU Basketball Camp

So We officially have a little pirate in the house!   Landon attended his first ECU basketball camp last
week at Minges Coliseum.  So how did this all come about?  Grandaddy saw an advertisement in the paper and before you know it he was signed up to go sharpen his basketball skills on the campus of ECU.  Grandaddy had the pleasure of taking him on the first day.  If you know Landon he has to be shy and clingy the first day or it wouldn't be right.  Needless to say Grandaddy was sitting beside Landon on the basketball court with about 80 little boys and some coaches before he would go out there.  A little less than halfway through, Grandaddy was finally able to slip away so Landon could enjoy his first day.  After that episode he was ready to go the rest of the time.  Day two and four Bobby was able to take him and I took him on Day three.  Of course I spent my entire time trying to capture some good pictures to share on my blog.  He was so funny to me because he was so excited that he couldn't be still in his rotations.  He was so ready for it to be his turn!  Bobby said that his team would always loose the relay races because Landon would keep getting back in line instead of sitting down to show that he was done.  He really had a great time and hopefully we will be back next year!!
In this exercise they had to dribble the ball down court, touch a line, then dribble back as fast as they could
At the beginning of camp the parents had an option to leave money on a tab for the kids to get a drink and snack.  I have never seen so many candy bars in my life!!
